Unbinding Lazarus
Problem: Support for the fight against opioid abuse was waning in the church community. They believed addiction is a choice, and that it didn't apply to Christians.
Insight: This wasn't a moral problem, it was a societal problem. People from every walk of life (including Christians) have struggled with addiction, or even died due to an overdose involving opioids. So why don't more people care?
Solution: It's America's longest war, and it's being fought on our soil, in our homes. It was time to drive awareness toward the staggering loss of life associated with opioid abuse by drawing parallels to conflicts America knows all too well. Then, let the numbers do the talking.
